Many people don’t realize that they are ​surrounded by hundreds of wild edible plants. From vacant fields to backyards and woodlands, nature provides an abundance of plants that are food for humans. Educator, licensed nutritionist, and wild edibles expert Debbie Naha will discuss plant identification, safety, look-alike plants, sustainable harvesting and nutrition. Join her to learn about the wild edible plants of our area and take home a wild recipe or two!
Socializing and refreshments at 7:00 pm, program begins at 7:30 pm.

Explore the trails of Marsh Creek as we look for those wild edible plants that are growing all around us. 

Join edible plant expert and licensed nutritionist Debbie Naha on this hands-on hike along the White trail. We’ll learn plant identification, foraging safety, look-alike plants, sustainable harvesting, and of course, nutrition.

Note: this is a plant foraging walk, not mushrooms.

There is limited space for this presentation so please register in advance to hold your spot.  Young adult and up only please. No Pets.
