Take a Walk on the “Wild Food” Side
It’s a yearly tradition!  Join the Fanwood Environmental Commission on a walk through the Fanwood Nature Center to find edible plants that are hiding in plain view.  Educator, nutritionist, and wild plant expert Debbie Naha will lead us through the winding trails of the Nature Center in search of nature’s own garden.  Ms. Naha is also a featured walk leader at the annual Union County Bio-Blitz held each June.  She will point out those plants that can be harvested for salads and snacks (and perhaps a few you shouldn’t touch) and just might share some of her secret “wild” recipes.
